What do you pay in royalties?
Royalties range between 8-12 percent on cover price depending on title. For works with two or more authors, royalties of 8-12 percent will be split equally among all parties for each individual title. As Dancing Bridge Publishing grows and we have reappearing authors who have proven their appeal, their skills and sales ability, the royalty and advance range may be increased on subsequent submissions.
Who promotes the books?
Both the publisher and author need to be involved in the marketing of any successful book. Your book will appear on our home page, listed as a new title, for at least two months prior to its release and two months afterward. Dancing Bridge will develop a revised marketing plan that will include submission for review and promotional mailings to the appropriate audience. This will complement your marketing plan, which should include a book tour.
What resources do you offer authors for promotion?
We will offer you a list of booksellers and media publications, along with samples of letters for your own use. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of every author to promote and sell his or her work. Dancing Bridge Publishing will help the author develop a viable marketing plan.
