If you are an author and have a book or concept idea, we encourage you to contact us. Do not submit manuscripts. Instead, follow the guidelines below and email (dancingbridgepub@att.net) or send to: Dancing Bridge Publishing, 45 Green Street, Bath, ME 04530. Be sure to include your contact information.

We will review your information within two weeks and either pass on the idea, or request further information, or require a complete manuscript.? Keep in mind that we will be scheduling 4-18 months in advance in our book-publishing schedule. If we agree to publish your book, we would determine a schedule, but most likely it would not be in print for another 6-18 months. The timing of the publication is determined by how much work must be done on the manuscript by you and us. The present publishing focus of DBP is:

Professional and personal development books with a unique approach that help people to understand and utilize the subject matter.
Fiction that engages the reader in an interesting story, teaches them something about life and themselves, and has a WOW factor.

Personal and Professional Development

For personal and professional development books, please send a query letter describing the book and stating what is unique about it, along with the author’s credentials, and a table of contents.

If Dancing Bridge is interested in publishing your book, you will be requested to send a proposal that includes:

an outline
a brief description of each chapter
a statement of the intended audience
a marketing plan
four completed chapters

Fiction
For fiction, please send a query letter stating what is unique about your book, along with the author’s credentials and a synopsis of each chapter. If Dancing Bridge is interested in publishing your book, you will be requested to send 4-6 chapters for review.
